Only necessary cookies

Chekiraj uses only cookies that are needed for the Platform to work: to keep you signed in, to remember the language you chose, and to protect the administration. We do not use cookies for advertising, analytics or tracking across websites. Because these cookies are strictly necessary, the law does not require your consent for them, and we do not show a cookie banner.

The cookies we use

• better-auth.session_token: keeps you signed in and protects your account. It is set when you sign in and lasts up to 30 days, or until you sign out.
• chekiraj_locale: remembers the language you chose, so that the site opens in that language next time. It lasts one year.
• chekiraj_admin: only for members of the Chekiraj team, to confirm access to the administration. It lasts until the browser is closed or, if the team member chooses to stay signed in, 30 days.

The Platform does not store any other data in your browser for tracking.

Third-party services

• PayPal. When a business pays a subscription or sponsorship, payment takes place on PayPal's pages, which set their own cookies under PayPal's cookie policy.
• Google. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google's sign-in page sets its own cookies under Google's policies.
• OpenStreetMap. Map images are loaded from OpenStreetMap servers. Your browser connects to them directly, so they receive your IP address, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Managing cookies

You can delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. If you block the necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in, and the site will not remember your language.

Changes

If we ever want to use cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

Languages

This policy is available in several languages. If the versions differ, the English version prevails.
